Overview

About the Project

Ruby Groups operates in a market where the buyer is a site engineer or contractor who makes decisions quickly, often on a mobile phone from a construction site. The website needed to communicate one thing above all else: Ruby Groups has the equipment you need, they serve your area, and contacting them is easy. Every section of the site was designed around that buyer and that decision. Services are categorised clearly. Location coverage is explicit. The enquiry path takes no more than two taps.

Challenge

What We Were Solving

Ruby Groups had an established reputation in offline markets but lacked a professional digital platform to show their range of services and areas of operation. Prospective customers searching online for construction support services in Trichy, Namakkal, or Dindigul could not find them.

The client also needed to rank for specific local search queries. Without structured service pages, location signals, or proper metadata, the site had no path to organic visibility regardless of how good the services were.

The website had to perform on slow mobile connections. Construction site workers do not always have strong signal. A site that takes 5 seconds to load on a 4G connection would lose the enquiry to a competitor.

Approach

How We Tackled It

1

Location targeting was the strategic foundation. We identified every city and district where Ruby Groups operated and built a content structure that signalled relevance for each location to search engines.

2

Each service was given dedicated page space with detailed descriptions written from the perspective of the contractor. Not marketing language. Practical language: what the product is, how it is used, what sizes are available, and how to order.

3

Performance optimisation was applied from the start. Images were compressed and lazy loaded. Fonts were preloaded. Critical CSS was inlined. The goal was under 2 seconds on a mid range mobile device on 4G.

Solution

What We Built

We designed and developed a clean and responsive service website using Next.js and Tailwind CSS. Each major service category was given a dedicated page with clear content, installation images, and benefits written for contractors and builders. The language is practical, not promotional.

SEO first content structures, location specific service pages, and optimised metadata were implemented to increase search visibility. Clear call to action buttons were placed at the end of every section to make enquiry as effortless as possible for a site engineer making a quick decision.
